Ok..let's start with last thurs..

It's 0.5's bd..gathered some ssc folks for steamboat-cum-bbq dinner @ Marina South. What could have been a normal dinner turned out to be quite an adventure..with 3 of them, including the bd herself, battling with live crabs and all..but bravo to them, they managed to slaughter the crabs rather professionally..

With the crabs settled..the next challenge was to avoid getting attacked by the hot oil..so we did what everyone else at the restaurant was doing..ie. stand and eat..(at first i thought it was some kind of ploy to burn more calories so they can eat more..given it's an all-u-can-eat buffet)

At the end of the 2 hrs or so, everyone was stuffed silly with food..but there was still the bd cake to go..luckily for us(?!), the cake had shrunk to half its original size..and once again, we proved the theory of 'cake tastes better when eaten with chopsticks' :Þ

Happy cos it's concert day today..even happier cos i din have to pay for the concert :D Tried jioing pple for the Z Pop concert sometime ago but nobody was keen(to spend the money) in attending..only my dear 0.5 offered to accompany me..well, good for her..since she managed to free-ride on my free tics, $128 one ok..hmm..maybe can take it tat it's my bd pressie to her?! idea leh..heh..

First up was Fish..Fish Leong lah..not tat fish..not too bad lah..always quite neutral towards her..next was Jeff Chang..*screams*(courtesy of 0.5, who seemed more excited about him than i was..& even singing along to his songs..while urs truly was sitting quietly thruout the concert) Pitch -perfect singing, as usual..his live singing never disappoints me..the only gripe i have? the mr soon-perm on him..tsk³

It was Harlem Yu's turn to entertain the crowd next..with his ktv-friendly 'qing fei de yi'(or 'qing bu zi jing' to 0.5) Again, 0.5 was happily singing and waving her lightstick madly everytime he turned towards our direction..while i was trying so hard to merge into the chair..

Last but not least, it's Jolin's turn on the stage..hers was a case of visual entertainment more than audio pleasure..just amazed how she can pranced about the stage with her 3 inches heels..

And then, there was the 'HIGHLIGHT' of the night..President Nathan came on stage to give away plaques to the sponsors..aiya, it's a charity concert afterall mah..& throughout the entire presentation..we were commenting how our ssc folks can easily do a better job at ushering, blah³..
