Had a night cycling event last sat..though i wasn't the one cycling(as usual, i was the safety vehicle)..i felt drained at the end of it..so much so that i feel i'm still recovering from it..2 days after it..
Went to sleep only at about 8ish am on sun..caught 40 winks and was up by lunchtime..spent the rest of sunday nuahing..including a 30min therapy session at my fave place, ie. the supermarket..walked thru each & every aisle before leaving the place empty-handed..only to end up buying a carton of milk from the mama shop below my house..another sign of getting old?!
There was a time when people said that Singapore won't make it..but we did..opps, national day approaching, feeling patriotic..heh.. Anyway, there was really a time when i was able to 'make it & 'thon out' the whole night and still be relatively fresh the next day..but seems like times have changed..or rather, moved along..
Ever since i've been 'seasonally unemployed'..i've been clocking about 8-9 hours of sleep almost everyday..these days, i try to be in bed by midnight (though there are times when i doze off at 10ish) and be up by 9..tat should give me the recommended(or in fact, more than) hours of 7-8 hours of sleep..but despite tat, i still feel tired during the day..like now..i feel like i'm in the 'gimme-5 mins-of-total-quietness-and-i'll doze-off-in-no-time' state..
Am i really getting old?
