This idea is nothing new..barter trade..in fact, it's the most 'original' trade..i got something u want, u got something i want ; we trade; u happy, i happy. Simple.
Then as society progressed, ie. got more complicated..money or currency comes into play..where services or goods are exchanged for a common currency..which can be used for the purchase of other goods and services (this is Econs Prof ZXL at work)
But since i've somewhat regressed..so it's back to basics for me..why do i say so..take the other day for example..
I managed to get some 'free labour' on wed..got twink and 0.5 to do some 'no-brainer' work in my office .. punching holes, cutting, binding....& what a brilliant job they did :) Was feeling a bit guilty about exploiting them..then decided it was in exchange of the door-to-door chauffeur services i provided for the wakeboarding session :Þ
Think barter trade is especially relevant for the NILIPIs(No Income, Low Income, Parttime Income)..while NILIPIs are not the richest in terms of money..most have time or services to spare..
Which is not too bad a thing..right?
