A summary of my week..

Judging from my blog topics..it seems like i had a rather boring life lately..which is kinda true..in the sense tat nothing earth-shattering had happened to me..

In fact, i think i can summarize the past one week in words - sleep, eat, work, exercise(in descending order of time allocated) ..and oh, struggling with a 50 tonnes heavy van..

Sleep - Wat..dun u sleep too?
Eat - Enough said about wat i eat..and how much i eat..
Work - Started doing some freelance video analysis thingy..in case u think this is gonna boost my 3-figure income..i'm not earning anything for it..yet..
Exercise - Somehow, i suspect this proportion is going to increase over the next few months..since the ssc folks have again signed away 5.5 hours of their lives(according to 0.5)..while i'm not taking part in The Running Event at all, i think i need to train up a bit..even as a 'casual runspirator', i ended up running almost 20km last year..

Struggling with a 50 tonnes van - Had just finished loading up bicycles for a ride when i was on the way to Ms P's birthday dinner..before i could even reach the ulu place..the van suddenly made some spluttering sounds..all the indicator lights started flashing..and then, it died..in the middle of east coast road..during the rush hour of 7pm..managed to restart the engine..some lights on the screen remained on..started driving but the van felt 10 times heavier..the steering wheel was so stiff tat even negotiating round a bend was a challenge..drove to a petrol station but nobody could make any sense of the problems..the only solution..to drive it back..

Anyway, we had since concluded tat the problem was tat of the power steering belt snapping..which explained why i had to use all my strength to steer the van..to drive a van without power steering is somewat challenging..to drive a continental van without power steering is even more challenging but still manageable..to drive a continental van loaded with 10 bicycles and loads of barang without power steering is f***ing challenging..(special mention to 0.5 who was sitting next to me all this while listening to my barraging without a nary of complaint)

Oh well..the week is coming to end..not too bad to end a week..blogging away on a lazy sunday afternoon : )
I'll leave you readers with a couple of shots taken from yesterday's ride..presenting Ms Chan, Wee2 and 0.5..
