Sleep is good and Mushrooms bad for you..

The less sleep you get, the higher your BMI tends to be. The likely explanation is that people who sleep five hours a bight were found to have 15% more ghrelin(a hormone that boosts hunger) in their bodies and 15% less leptin(which suppresses it) than those sleeping eight hours.

In case you think i'm making this up, this is according to a research in Virginia. Anyway this is also backed by OSM who claims all those whom she knows sleep early are skinny people..and perhaps this also explains why i've lost weight recently..

And according to another research(from Fliners University and the University of Toronto), the study squashed the long-held belief that taste is what turns people off food. The strongest component to bring on the 'yuck' reaction is the texture. After presenting people with unfamiliar foods that were labelled with fake name, the researchers asked them what they wouldn't eat and why. In the majority of cases, the reasoning was that they didn't like the way the food 'felt in their mouth'.

And guess what, apparently, mushrooms, tomatoes and onions were the most regularly rejected foods.

I rest my case..
